Not impressed by the automated emails threatening Debt Collection for... wait for it, NINETY dollars? My bank account got hacked and frozen... it takes usually TEN business days for a new Debit card to be issued. Not to mention the time and stress involved with changing banks. Why only allow 4 days before starting to get snarky about that amount of money? SERIOUSLY? My car insurance company gives me TWO WEEKS grace period to make my premium payment if something goes amiss... and that is in relation to FIFTEEN thousand dollars, not NINETY! And your Site Manager could get up from behind the desk and check if I have emptied my unit out, instead of asking me to come back to the office to tell her? Taking my storage needs elsewhere!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t speak highly enough of the exceptional customer service I received from Josie at Kennards Self-Storage Penrose. From my initial online enquiry to providing a complimentary trailer hire on move-in day, Josie was incredibly friendly, professional, patient, and genuinely helpful. The entire process was easy to understand, and all my questions and concerns were answered clearly and transparently, with no hidden costs. It was an easy decision to sign up with Kennards. Thank you, Josie and Leila, for all your help and for making the whole experience such a positive one. Your service was exceptional and very much appreciated! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today we had notification that there was an error in our account. I phoned and was able to speak with Josie. She advised that she would look into the issue and call back. A few hours later Josie was able to advise us that there had been an error in the payment amount. We received a credit. The overriding point is how polite and helpful Josie was in handling the situation. A real credit to the Kennards Company

I used the Penrose mini storage facility while travelling, was very convenient an affordable very secure an very friendly helpful staff an biggest bonus was free trailer higher anytime while renting a shed or more, they also provided storage trolleys, when I was referred myself an the person who referred me got a $50 credit each an I personally received half price for my first month also only require 1wks notice. Keep in mind they do change promotions regularly so do check/ask; 10/10 ⭐️

Great pricing. Fantastic service from front office and back office. I rented two units during a house move and both were very clean. Access can be a little tricky with a moving truck depending which unit you are given so it pays to check if you’re using a furniture truck yourself.

I loved National Mini Storage Penrose The team is so friendly and helpful - it is also always so spotlessly clean and tidy - I have used them off and on for over 10 years, and the service is always great.

This is a great place - very clean and tidy- the best thing is the staff. They are very patient, friendly and efficient. They kindly helped out red stickered people with a month free and I have only left as I can no longer afford the storage. Would use them again.

I received great service from the Penrose facility, right from when they first called me after I viewed their website online, to when I emptied the unit 4 months later. The systems in place at the storage facility all work really well. The office staff are friendly and very helpful. Their prices are very competitive too. A very positive experience all round and I highly recommend storing with this company. :-)

The day we were meant to start our storage, there were massive flood issues all over Auckland. They pro-actively sent out an email asking people to come check their storage unit. I was expecting a stressed out team to have limited patience for all my questions considering the floods. But no, the team was friendly, ready for a big day and trying to keep the atmosphere fun and light hearted. I was immediately offered storage in an alternate location, only 3km away, in very nice modern and clean facilities. Transferring my account to the new location went really smoothly and the new location was ready for me when I arrived. Fantastic customer service. We will definitely use mini national storage again for any future storage needs we have!

Had a large unit for 5 years here. Never had a problem - access was great, communication also. Goods not damaged at all, dry as a bone! Highly recommend this facility if you have a storage need.

The storage shed we booked was not available when we moved in but we were promised a credit at end of term. We were pretty happy with the ease of access and the caretaker there was always friendly. I contacted the company back in April to let them know we were finishing our term in June and also notified them of a leak. Still waiting to hear back and have sent a couple emails following up since then. Terrible customer service.
